North Rae Sanders was formed in 1991, the union of three experienced property agents from Coventry, Leicester and Northamptonshire. From the outset, the agency filled a gap, uniquely covering both the East and West Midlands markets. It also had an expert eye on distribution warehouses and investment funds.
The local/national combination proved an instant success. Three agents and a secretary were joined by investment and rent review specialists. In 2003, the addition of a new London office secured NRS’s status as a national niche agency, specialising in industrial/distribution property and regional offices.
The partnership is run by three equity partners, Robert Rae, Andrew Jackson and Peter Keir. In the past 12 months, NRS has transacted more than 5 million sq ft of commercial space, including the largest pre-let in the Midlands market (850,000 sq ft for Evans of Leeds to Tesco at Fradley Park). This is just one highlight from the past 15 years and we hope the next 15 will be equally exciting.
