The company, which provides engineering services to the Oil and Gas industry, fitted out 1,300 sq ft on the first floor of Unit 6 and operations commenced the first week of January. The NewYear also saw a change of name to Delta Energy Services. For the past two years, Delta Technology has been based on the Saturn Centre, in Lockhurst Lane, but needed more modern premises, said Operations Manager Martin McDonald. \\\"Oak Court is a new, purpose-built, office development and will provide us with the improved facilities and image we need as a technology company. It is also big enough to allow us to expand in future, and is in a prime location near to the motorway. We currently have six staff, who will all be relocating with us. Delta Technology UK is part of the Delta Group, which was founded in 1988 and is based in Stavanger, Norway. The UK operation has been running since 1997, initially in the North East, and in the Midlands for the past four years. The new base will house the company\\\'s international Inspection Coordination, International Accounts and Manpower Recruitment Services departments, as well as the Business Development team. The company provides 3rd party inspection and multi-disciplined engineering services to an international client base, including BP and Shell, for the design, engineering, construction and installation phases of a wide range of on and offshore Oil and Gas projects. Oak Court is situated on a 2.3 acre site on the prestigious Prologis Park business park, close to Junction 3 of the M6. The first phase comprises seven courtyard buildings, totalling 22,000 sq ft, six of which have been let or sold to companies including leading cleaning contractor Regent Cleaning, NSK Steering systems, Errigal Investments and St Klare Reece Associates / JSR Associates. Each unit is positioned around a courtyard and benefits from its own, self-contained office suite, front door and car parking. A further 30,000 sq ft, in Phase 2 is available on a design and build basis. Property joint agents North Rae Sanders and D & P Holt confirmed \\\"the deal is a sign that people are still looking for quality accommodation, in the right location and at the right price.
